Uma idosa com 83 anos está hospitalizada após ter ficado gravemente ferida num acidente que envolveu uma moto que acompanhava os duques de Cambridge.
Na segunda-feira à tarde, o príncipe William e a sua mulher Kate Middleton iam a caminho de uma cerimónia quando um dos escoltas numa moto atropelou uma mulher de 83 anos. A idosa foi internada de imediato em estado grave.
“A moto atingiu-a, atirou-a pelo ar e ela caiu no chão”, afirmou uma testemunha ao jornal “The Sun”. “O polícia estava abalado, mas circulava pelo lado errado da via. Podia ter sido pior”, acrescentou ainda.
O príncipe William de Inglaterra e Kate estão “profundamente preocupados e entristecidos” com o acontecimento, comunicou o Palácio de Kensington.
